Mistake or Not - Don't read before 21

Making mistakes is one thing, but telling the whole story in full detail - I don't get it at all.

As you must've guessed I read "The 3 Mistakes of My Life" by Chetan Bhagat. All I can say is I should've chosen another book.

The plot is slightly thin for a book, but I couldn't keep the book down for sure. I'm no authority on book critiquing so just writing what I felt like. The book helped me remember some important events that shaped the world and India, but somehow I didn't feel for the characters.

What I did feel was slight angst towards the Govind character as he seemed most concerned and focused about money may be because I'm in favour of following passion more than being realistic. I would say I was surprised by Omi's sudden change of character and heart. Ish was my favourite, I guess because he reminds me of me. I thought the whole Vidya angle wasn't required, but I guess you need some masala to sell the book. I would only give this book to my kid once she or he turns 21, not before that and I will be careful while bringing up my daughter for sure.
